Have land available to the side?
An easy way to add up to 50% extra space is a side extension. This project built over an existing garage to add two bedrooms at first floor level with En-Suites.
Two storey side extensions do require planning permission, however, in some cases they can be the easiest way to add rooms without compromising light and is usually connected directly to the original staircase.
For this Tonbridge project, we designed a number of different options and roof structures to make the the building blend into the street.
